Abstract

Generally, the works involve the removal of existing corrugated asbestos sheeting and structure, with replacement roof trusses and natural slate and batten. The building is detached and within the Conservation Area and all new materials are to be strictly in accordance with Conservation/Planning guidelines. The property operates as a printing business and is well established and respected within Pembroke Dock. The property will remain open during the works and all necessary Health & Safety issues therefore must be maintained. In addition to the re-roofing, all existing windows, shop fronts are to be replaced with new hardwood, painted/stained units. New cast iron rainwater goods to be supplied and fixed. Complete redecoration and repairs/enhancement of the external fabric is to be carried out in strict compliance with Conservation/CADW requirements.
