The Authority ran a tendering exercise under an Open procedure procurement process for the supply of Residential Care Step-down Bed Services in close proximity to the Hospital. The services are required to facilitate the discharge of patients that not longer require acute hospital services, but are unable to return home. Step-down Bed Care Home services are temporary stay arrangements only and not a solution for those requiring permanent care.
Lot 1: Block Booked Beds Services
The Authority has awarded contract for the block booking of beds to cover the period of the contract for continuity of supply within 2 Care Homes.

Precise information on deadline(s) for review procedures:
A minimum 10 day standstill period operated from the point that information regarding intention to award the contract is provided to participants in the tender. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers the opportunity to seek further debriefing from the contracting Authority (the Trust) before the contracts are awarded. Applicants had 2 working days from notification of the intention to award decision to seek additional debriefing and that information is to be provided within 3 working days before the expiry of the standstill period. Such information should be obtained from the Contract Manager (Procurement), via the e-tendering portal.
