Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
NHS Medway CCG and Medway Council, through their Partnership Commissioning team, have commissioned a Young Persons' Wellbeing Service for Medway to commence in September 2017 for an initial 5 year term with an option to extend for a further 2 years.
The appointed provider will deliver primary and specialist emotional wellbeing and mental health services to young people up to the age of 19 for initial referral and to age 25 for continued support if clinically appropriate and in the best interest of the young person. The extended age-range will be phased in during the first year of the contract to enable the provider to work with Commissioners and providers of adult services to develop the necessary protocols and pathways.
