These bespoke consumables, exclusive to NHS Scotland, are non-compatible with other testing systems.

Explanation
The continued supply of the bespoke consumables (test cards) used by the Scottish Laboratories along with the ongoing Service/Maintenance of the ageing VITEK testing systems in situ and previously sourced over 10 years ago by NHS Scotland Health Boards can only be provided by the one Supplier. These bespoke consumables, exclusive to NHS Scotland, are non-compatible with other testing systems.
