South Hams District Council is inviting tenders for the provision of Municipal Solid Waste Haulage Services from the Authority’s waste transfer station at its Torr Quarry site. This entails the provision of a service transferring waste, including but not limited to mixed municipal, paper and cardboard, plastics and metals, to approved delivery sites both within and outside Devon County boundaries.
Under this contract the contractors and their supply chains will be required to actively participate in the achievement of the Contracting Authority’s social / economic/environmental objectives. Accordingly, contract documents may relate to social / economic / environmental considerations.
