NWSSP - PROCUREMENT SERVICES
CONTRACT REF: PS2462 – MAINTENANCE OF CARL ZEISS EQUIPMENT
SPECIFICATION
1.All maintenance is to be carried out in line with manufacturer recommended guidelines. Evidence must provided that engineers have been trained to manufacturer standards.
2.The Contractor shall undertake the number of planned preventative maintenance visits specified on the equipment schedule.
3.Cover requested includes the following levels:-
•PREVENTATIVE which will include the planned preventative maintenance visits, all spare/replacement parts and emergency call-outs to be charged as extra to the contract fee (pricing to be outlined on the Additional Information Schedule which forms part of the tender document)
•SEMI-COMPREHENSIVE which will include the planned preventative maintenance visits and all costs associated with emergency call-outs, ie, call out fee, labour charges, travel and mileage. Spare/replacement parts to be charged as extra
•COMPREHENSIVE which will include the planned preventative maintenance visits plus all costs associated with emergency call-outs and all spare replacement parts.
4.Departments must be contacted at least 14 days prior to a visit taking place to arrange the intended date/time. Contact details will be provided to the successful contractor in the form of a “reporting and recording” schedule which must be adhered to at all times.
5.Service reports signed by both the engineer and authorised department representative must be left at each individual department at the time of service.
