Abstract

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is inviting a tender from interested Providers to support the delivery of plain film radiographer reporting services. BCUHB currently provides a full MSK plain film radiographer reporting service Monday to Friday. A full-time member of the team is currently on maternity leave until approximately December 2018. This will leave insufficient capacity (a deficit of seven sessions of reporting, with a session defined as 3.75 hours) to deliver the required reporting turnaround times. Additional MSK plain film reporting capacity is required for the period to maintain reporting turnaround times targets and reduce the risks inherent with delayed diagnosis.
