Fire and rescue services within the UK intend to collaboratively tender for the Provision of workwear, corporate wear and ceremonial /undress uniform. The collaborative project is being led by Kent and Medway Towns Fire Authority on behalf of all framework participant. The authority are seeking a supplier(s) via the restricted procedure for these goods /services.
Interested parties may tender for 1 or both Lots, however tenderers must be able to provide the goods and services detailed within the Lot they are tendering for.
A number of fire and rescue authorities have signed an inter authority agreement and although not formally committed to calling off under the framework the intention is that if the successful bid provides value for money their respective authorities will utilise the framework.
The resulting framework will be available to all UK Fire and Rescue Authorities, the Ministry of Defence and other Blue Light Emergency Services within the United Kingdom.
