The services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason: absence of competition for technical reasons
Explanation
In order to ensure sufficient choice for service users to meet its obligations under the Care Act 2014, the Council has awarded contracts to all residential care home suppliers operating within the borough of South Tyneside. Contracts have been negotiated based on the needs of individual clients resident in each care home. There is no requirement for competition when awarding contracts.
