Abstract

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board who sought to establish a contract for Asbestos Consultancy Services. The Health Board's Estates Department undertakes a significant amount of asbestos surveying and remediation as part of Capital & Discretionary Capital project work and has requirement to arrange and manage these projects. The Health Board is looking to bring in an experienced asbestos consultant (project manager) to assist in undertaking these project management duties. Work on the Health Board's sites are generally complex and challenging and we consider well qualified and experienced staff to be of the utmost importance, therefore, the awarded company must be accredited for analytical provision with UKAS.
