II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The procurement of this contract is being undertaken in accordance with the open procedure prescribed by the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
Yarlington want to set up a long-term agreement with an organisation that can locally source and prepare delicious and nutritious frozen food which we will prepare and serve to our customers. We have a diverse customer base and we require the successful service provider to be able to provide a varied selection of food that will help support us in meeting our customer’s needs. We require the successful service provider to:
— provide specific dietary and nutritional advice to help us support our customers,
— provide a simple online ordering process that enables us to place orders for meals on a weekly basis with the ability to amend orders, track orders, raise queries and access our order history,
— set weekly deliveries to all schemes during the working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday,
— be able to provide delivery time slots,
— support us with arranging special themed events to all our schemes. For example – an Italian night that will take place on the same day across all schemes,
— provide free of charge training days or ad-hoc support days to Yarlington staff that will assist in continuously improving the services we deliver to our customers. For example, food preparation and presentation,
— be able to source and supply crockery, cutlery and serving equipment as and when required following receipt of a competitive price/quotation.
