II.2.4) Description of the procurement
One of VisitBritain’s key responsibilities is to increase the volume of visitors to England’s regional destinations (outside of London). To this end, we are looking for a Destination Management Organisation (DMO) representing a regional English destination that can support our strategic ambitions to grow regional visitor numbers and support regional route development, specifically:
— promote the destination through brand and marketing campaigns primarily across great markets but with potential opportunities across core/nurture markets too,
— sustain and attract additional capacity to the destination airport on targeted routes by encouraging more visitors to the region,
— drive economic growth through incremental business and leisure tourism,
— create and build awareness of the destination brand.
