II.1.4) Short description
The Harris Museum Art Gallery and Library is an iconic Grade 1 listed building which Preston City Council (PCC) and Lancashire County Council (LCC) are working together, developing community-led approaches to reinvigorate the Harris for our users and the city. Our aim is to create a democratic and high quality offer, with community-led museum, art gallery, library services and cultural activities delivered in a truly seamless manner. The Harris was awarded a development grant from the NLHF in January 2019 for the “Re-Imagining the Harris” project. We are now progressing the development phase of this project that will lead to a Round 2 NLHF grant submission in November 2020. The successful tenderer will be appointed to provide services as set out in the RIBA Outline Plan of Work 2013, the Project Specification/Requirements and the Clients Brief. The successful tenderer will be appointed as Project Lead Consultant and will advise on and manage the procurement of other services.
