The decision to award a contract to BMC Software Distribution BV is taken on technical grounds, as the remedy on demand ICT service management tool is proprietary to BMC Software Distribution BV and as such only they are able to provide appropriate levels of support and maintenance, as well as providing on-going updates and fixes for their system.
