SSE is proposing to secure a series of frameworks to access an itemised list of transactional wind turbine support services including but not limited to:
— remote monitoring,
— grid compliancy services (SCADA),
— technical support,
— provision of safety and technical documentation,
— parts supply,
— tooling,
— competency training,
— scheduled servicing technician support,
— fault finding technician support,
— major component exchanges,
— oil exchanges,
— lifting equipment maintenance.
This will potentially cover a number of wind farms in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Great Britain.
Bidders will be expected to offer for each site and services they are interested in tendering for.

The frameworks will cover a range of technologies and will enable SSE to access services on a transactional basis and will potentially cover a number of wind farms in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Great Britain.
Tenderers will not necessarily be expected to be able to offer all services listed above for each wind farm or technology however are open to offer those services which they can provide.
