Abstract

Suppliers will be required to assist TRP’s Head of Landscape and other TRP staff in developing feasibility proposals, detailed design, and delivery and management of landscape projects as well as providing research, investigation and management planning. Suppliers may also be asked to provide a wide range of related services integral to the delivery of TRP’s programme of landscape development and other projects.

The framework works alongside other TRP specialist services frameworks including education, access and communities, new builds and refurbishment works, project support, civil and structural engineering and irrigation works. Landscape construction works are currently tendered through TRP’s Landscape construction framework.

Over the past few years, TRP’s landscape architect services framework suppliers have helped to deliver a wide range of projects from multi-million-pound Heritage Lottery funded park-wide projects to small low value individual projects. Projects are currently funded from a number of sources including internally through TRP’s Project Approval Group and TRP’s works budget and externally through grant funding e.g. HLF, LMCT, etc. There is also a small core landscape development budget.

Resources to deliver landscape development projects vary annually depending on staff capacity, income generated through large events and concerts, grant income and the level of government funding.
