Abstract

Market Testing Event – Development of a Specialist Supported Living Framework for Adults with Learning Disabilities Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) is considering implementing a Framework Agreement with a number of quality Providers who would then be considered for the future delivery of Specialist Supported Living Schemes for people with complex, challenging behaviours, each of which will be subject to its own tender process and evaluation. In order to further develop these plans, BCBC is looking to carry out a market testing event with Learning Disabilities Supported Living providers to gain a provider’s perspective on the new service model that BCBC will be looking to introduce from April 2022. The market testing event(s) will be facilitated by BCBC using Microsoft Teams, and will take place week commencing 19th April 2022. The exact number of events arranged will be determined by the number of providers who wish to attend and attendance will be limited to one person per organisation. To enable us to determine numbers, could you please email Julia Parry with your request to attend at Julia.Parry@bridgend.gov.uk by close of play on Monday 12th April. Once numbers have been collated, Julia will then send a Microsoft Teams invite on the 13th/14th April to those nominated, which will contain a link to join the relevant market testing event. Getting a provider’s perspective on our ideas and plans is an absolutely vital component to help us understand if the new approach and service model is the right thing to do and also viable moving forward, so please attend and share your thoughts with us.
