Provision of Domestic & Commercial Heating Works at Charston/Pandy, Cwmbran

Description of the goods or services required

This project consists of the de-commissioning and removal of the existing communal heating system and pipework, demolishing the chimney which the boilers are using as a flue. Making good the roofs and fascia following its removal and fitted stepped flashing into the pine end of the communal lounge.

Installing new heating systems to the bungalows and communal lounge, to include new radiators, pipework, boilers, vertical flues, condensate pumps and magnaclean filters, heating controls and cabling.

The site is designated as a retirement housing scheme and consists of 21 bungalows and 1 communal building which are of a traditional brick and block type construction with pitched roofs. The residents of all the properties consist solely of Bron Afon tenants.

Contractors bidding for this work must be able to commence work on site on the 28th June 2021 and be completed and invoiced by the end of September 2021. A period of 12 weeks has been allocated to deliver this project.
