Abstract

Supply chain relationships data that is created from combining >100,000 sources of data , including Panjiva shipping data, other commercial and open datasets, and unstructured data using NLP techniques. 6 risk metrics for companies and 6 risk dimensions (financial, ESG, operational, restrictions, geopolitical, and cyber). Mapping of supply chains of interest to the pilot both upstream and downstream to 4th tier using multi-tier, multi-factor risk monitoring methodology which reveals sub-tiers of suppliers that are connected but would otherwise be completely invisible. This provides a map of the entire supplier network that instantly looks beyond known third party suppliers and tracks every relationship for every business that is connected to the entity of choice. Continuous Risk monitoring through an automated process of assessing suppliers across key product categories for full spectrum risk data in real time and providing real-time alerts – flagging disruptive events that will impact key suppliers and / or key product categories.

Explanation

After extensive market engagement only five data suppliers had relevant detailed company, product, risk and geolocation data. All of these have been acquired for testing in this short-term pilot. Interos provides supply chain relationships data that is created from combining >100,000 sources of data , including Panjiva shipping data, other commercial and open datasets, and unstructured data using NLP techniques. They provide 6 risk metrics for companies and 6 risk dimensions (financial, ESG, operational, restrictions, geopolitical, and cyber). Their platform/environment cleans, processes and structures the data. Interos will map supply chains of interest to the pilot both upstream and downstream to 4th tier using multi-tier, multi-factor risk monitoring methodology which reveals sub-tiers of suppliers that are connected but would otherwise be completely invisible. This provides a map of the entire supplier network that instantly looks beyond known third party suppliers and tracks every relationship for every business that is connected to the entity of choice. Risk monitoring is continuous through an automated process of assessing suppliers across key product categories for full spectrum risk data in real time and providing real-time alerts – flagging disruptive events that will impact key suppliers and / or key product categories.
