The tender process is being managed by Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance Brokers Ltd who will conduct negotiations with insurers who meet the minimum requirements.
Details of the University's risk profile are available from Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance Brokers. This may be amended from time to time to meet the changes in the University's requirements.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The University recognises that there may be a need for cover to be provided on a scheduled/co-insured/layered basis whereby multiple insurers provide the ultimate capacity required given the scale of the placement.
The tender process is therefore being managed by Arthur J. Gallagher insurance Brokers Ltd who will conduct negotiations with insurers as indicated above should it not be possible place the cover with a single insurer.
It is the University's preference to enter into a longer term agreement for a period of 4 years although it would be prepared to proceed with a placement for a single year commencing on 1 August 2023 or for a single years plus 3 extension options for a further year.

List and brief description of conditions:
Service providers must be insurance companies regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and Market Act 2000, Insurance Companies Act 1982 and any other statutory modifications.
The insurer shall be authorised to write the classes of insurance required and be subject to English law and jurisdiction of English Courts.
This tender does not include requirement for any insurance broking services.
