II.2.4) Description of the procurement
NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board are seeking to commission a Structured Education in Type 2 Diabetes Service. NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) is acting as an agent for and on behalf of the Commissioner and is supporting the procurement process. The service is being procured under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 via a one stage process similar to an Open process.<br/><br/>The service will provide a practitioner-led education programme to support patients with type 2 diabetes to self-manage their condition. The contract will commence 1st August 2024 for a period of 3 years with the Commissioner having the option to extend the Contract for up to a further 2 years, subject to funding and performance. It is important to note that this procurement includes an affordability threshold. The maximum contract value available is £60,000.00 per annum (exclusive of VAT). No bids over £60,000 per annum will be accepted. Any bids exceeding £60,000 per annum, in any contract year, will be disqualified from the process.<br/><br/>Full details of the service can be found and are included as part of the documentation within the project on Atamis.
