Abstract

Essex County Council (ECC) is intending to set up a brand new dynamic purchasing system to support ECC, schools and anchor partners with procuring retro-fit works for non-domestic buildings. Following engagement held in 2023 with the suppliers and potential users of the DPS, the scope of the has been refined to two lots.

These are proposed to be:

LOT 1 – LED Installation

LOT 2 – Solar PV Installation

The DPS is proposed to have a value under Procurement threshold for Works contracts. The council intends to utilise PPN 11/20 to reserve the opportunity for Essex based suppliers. It is

ECC would like to update its market information since the last round market engagement.
