Community Energy Audits

Description of the goods or services required

Conwy County Borough Council wish to appoint a consultant(s) to undertake energy audits to determine the energy efficiency of community run and community use buildings in Conwy county and propose long term interventions to reduce their running costs and reduce their carbon emissions.

The work is funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund- Community Led Local Development Project and all works must be completed by end of October 2024.

-Raising awareness of the opportunity of a free energy audit with community buildings committees/owners.

-Inspiring community building committees/owners to undertake an energy audit to identify long term energy savings and carbon reduction opportunities

-Production of an Energy Audit of information gathered and an Action Plan with identified sources of funding both local and national funding opportunities.

Additional Information

We have a budget of £30,000, you are asked to state how many Energy Audits it would be possible for you to deliver. We anticipate each contractor to have the capacity to deliver a minimum of 15 energy audits within the timescale. Final number will be dependent upon take-up by the community & community use buildings. Final payment will be paid per audit completed.

If the highest scoring contractor cannot deliver the entire value of the contract we will award subsequent work to the next highest scoring contractor(s) until the budget is fully assigned.
