II.1.4) Short description
The Authority is seeking a concessionaire to provide repair, maintenance and installation of climate friendly bus shelters and to display advertising on the paper and digital shelter panels for a return of profit share.
This will initially be in the Boroughs of Gosport , Hart and Rushmoor with scope for further areas to be encompassed into this contract.

This contract covers the geographical area of Hampshire County Council (not including Portsmouth , Southampton and Isle of Wight ).
At present the following local authorities (non authority owned) shelters are included:
Gosport Borough Council
Hart District Council
Rushmoor Borough Council
The remaining 8 Borough Councils in the Hampshire County council area can fall in scope for this contract , however there is no guarantee that they will do so .
II.2.4) Description of the procurement
This contract is for the supply ,construction, maintenance and repair of bus shelters with paper and digital advertising panels within agreed Authority areas. The shelters will be owned and maintained under the responsibility of the successful concessionaire.
The successful concessionaire will provide a fixed fee and/or a share of revenue from the advertising income streams to the Authority.
The numbers and locations of the shelters can change throughout the term of the contract and there is no guarantee of additional shelters being included in this tender.
The contract value given in Section II.1.15 is based on an estimation of potential revenue for Hampshire and not the estimation of potential revenue for the three confirmed localities.
The estimation of value for the three localities is £35,334,000.00 over the 15 year term based on Authority spend on advertising. Further details can be found in the procurement documents.
