This Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab programme will pilot the NHS Artificial Intelligence Deployment Platform (NHS AIDP), an approach to accelerate the safe deployment of mature and certified AI medical imaging products in radiology clinical pathways at scale. This cloud-based platform will provide a standardised infrastructure for the deployment of mature and certified AI medical imaging technologies at scale in the radiology workflow. To test this approach, several mature AI products from leading vendors will be deployed into two Imaging Networks initially in shadow mode, before being potentially switched on live.
