This is an intention to award notice pursuant to The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 (the 'Regulations'), in accordance with Regulation 9, under Direct Award Process C. Therefore, the notice sets out the contracting authority's intention to directly award a contract to the existing provider up to 5 years for its provision for the Adult Substance Misuse Recovery Service, subject to completion of the 8 working day standstill period.

This requirement has been procured in line with said Regulations, following due diligence which has included an evaluation under the requisite Basic Selection Criteria and Key Criteria.

Quality criterion: Existing provider is satisfying the original contract and will likely satisfy the proposed contract to a sufficient standard / Weighting: 100

The duration of the Contract will be three (3) years (Initial term), with optional annual extensions up to a further 2 years (5 years in total) in accordance with the Conditions of the Contract.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.

For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations before midnight at the end of the 8th working day, i.e. 27 March 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this Notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
