Any work that requires to be carried out to the ‘mains’ electrical wiring will require the contractor to be a certified member of SELECT (or equivalent). SELECT is the trade association for the electrical contracting industry in Scotland. Every SELECT Member undergoes a rigorous technical assessment on a regular basis. This helps to ensure that the work a Member company carries out is safe and installed to recognised industry standards throughout the period of this Agreement. Bidders to confirm the relevant membership.
