Abstract

Social Care Wales has received further funding from Welsh Government’s Volunteering Wales Strategic Grant, administered by the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA). This funding will be used to commission a new piece of research to build on our existing research into the social care volunteering landscape in Wales. The new project will involve in-depth qualitative research to explore the experiences of volunteers who transition into paid roles within the social care sector. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier to design and deliver robust qualitative research exploring the experiences of social care volunteers in Wales who are either seeking or have secured paid employment within the sector. The research will also capture the perspectives of individuals involved in recruiting and supporting these volunteers.
