Social Care Wales is developing a framework of expert speakers and trainers to provide online workshops and training on topics related to leadership development for:

- Managers and leaders working in social care

Our approach to leadership is underpinned by the principles of compassionate leadership.

Suppliers will be expected to develop and deliver sessions on request.

This will include

- Short, half day workshops, training or information sessions

- Full day workshops, training or information sessions

- A workshop or training series, with up to four sessions on a specific topic.

These sessions will be provided online.

Suppliers will be required to provide sessions for one or more of the following topic areas:

- Topic 1: Emotional intelligence & leadership presence

- Topic 2: Communication, conversations & speaking up

- Topic 3: Psychological safety & team culture

- Topic 4: Moral injury, ethics & values in leadership

Additional Information

We will be holding a preliminary market engagement session via MS Teams on:

Friday 17 April 2026 at 13:00

The session will be hosted by project lead Rebecca Cicero (Head of Culture and Leadership) and Bex Steen (Leadership Manager) and a member of the Procurement team.

The session will begin with an outline of the requirements, with an opportunity for questions and answers to follow. The session will be recorded and shared with all interested suppliers.
