Training Framework: Supporting the Wellbeing of the Social Care, Early Years and Childcare Workforce

Description of the goods or services required

Social Care Wales is developing a framework of expert speakers and trainers to provide online workshops, information sessions and training on topics related to workforce wellbeing for:

- Social care workers, with some sessions to be specifically targeted at managers

- Early years and childcare workers, with some sessions specifically targeted at managers

These sessions will be provided on request.

This will include

- Short, half day workshops, training or information sessions

- Full day workshops, training or information sessions

- A workshop or training series, with up to four sessions on a specific topic.

These sessions will be provided online.

Suppliers will be required to provide sessions for one or more of the following topic areas:

- Topic 1: Supporting mental health in work.

- Topic 2: Building team connections – using storytelling approaches to support emotional well-being

- Topic 3: Understanding vicarious trauma and how to support individuals and teams – For managers

- Topic 4: Creating inclusive and diverse teams

- Topic 5: General workforce wellbeing

Additional Information

We will be holding a preliminary market engagement session via MS Teams on:

Tuesday 14 April 2026 at 10:00

The session will be hosted by project lead Rebecca Cicero (Head of Culture and Leadership) and Kate Newman (Wellbeing Manager) and a member of the Procurement team.

The session will begin with an outline of the requirements, with an opportunity for questions and answers to follow. The session will be recorded and shared with all interested suppliers.

If you are interested in joining a preliminary market engagement session, please email procurement@socialcare.wales advising the tender title and who will be joining.

Following the session the Sell2Wales question and answer portal will be live until 17:00 the following day, Wednesday 15 April 2026, for any additional questions, as required.
