II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The City of Edinburgh Council (the Council) are seeking to establish a contract for a provider to deliver the First Aid Awareness training element of the Taxi and Private Hire Car (PHC) Intermediate Course. The course is delivered at the Licensing Hub, currently located at the Murryburn Depot. However, the service is due to move to South Gyle, where the course will be delivered post move. The whole course is delivered over three days with the First Aid element to be delivered on day two, with morning and afternoon sessions. The training is to be delivered to groups of up to 25 participants per session. It is estimated that 92 training days will be required in the first year of the contract.
