II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The objective of this Procurement Process is to secure a single contract arrangement for the supply of Pressure Vessel Inspection services across Yorkshire Water's estate.
The purpose of this contract is to ensure the continued, compliant and cost effective provision of Pressure Vessel Inspections in line with the Pressure System Safety Regulations (PSSR 2000) as well as POP tests on Pressure Relief Valves, Ultra-thickness spot checks and on-site calibration of pressure gauges.
The scope of vessels requiring inspections will cover both Minor and Intermediate categories, including:
• Compressed Air Receivers
• Air Accumulators
• Air Water Expansion Vessels
• Sewage Ejector Vessels
• High Pressure Air/Oil Accumulators
• Steam Pressurised Systems/Boilers
• Air and Sludge Pulsation Vessels
