II.1.4) Short description
The Works comprise of upgrading existing door entry systems to over 1050 blocks, owned or managed by the employer within the contract area, which are aging and will soon lose the ability to communicate as they currently use PTSN Copper BT landlines and modern devices, by replacing these lines of communication with a 4G GSM to cloud communication device.
Swapping outdated PAC fob reader systems to new KMS cloud systems as these are outdated and only allow a small number of fobs to be stored on the memory.
The Contract is awarded under the JCT Measured Term Contract 2011 for a fixed term of 18 months, commencing on the 1st May 2026 and expiring on 31st October 2027. There is no provision for extension.
No guarantee is given as to the volume or value of works to be instructed. However, for indicative purposes only, it is anticipated that works with a total value of £1.0M to £1.2M per annum may be issued under this contract.
This underlying contract is awarded via Mini Competition from Lot 11 - Servicing, Installation and / or Repairs of Security Systems Including CCTV and Access Controlled Entry Works of the EN:Procure Dynamic Purchasing System Agreement for the Provision of Compliance Works.
