Procurement description
The Police & Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire has awarded a contract for the provision of fire and access safety maintenance services across the Warwickshire Police estate.
This was following a below threshold invitation only procurement.
The requirement was tendered as two lots with the following assets listed as requiring services plus any associated services:
Lot 1
Fire Safety Maintenance Service
• Access Control
• Affray Alarm
• Cell Call Systems
• Communications - Public Address Systems
• Door Access Control
• Emergency Assistance Alarm
• Emergency Voice Communication Systems
• Fire Alarm - Voice Alarm Systems
• Flood Alarm System
• Intercom System
• Intruder Alarms
Lot 2
Access Safety Maintenance Service
• Aspirating Smoke Detection
• Fire Alarm System
Suppliers were able to submit tenders for any single option, all available options, or a combination of options. A single contract has been awarded for both lots.
The contract will be for an initial period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further 12 months at the discretion of the authority.
The contract value provided is estimated and includes planned preventative maintenance, asset verification in year 1 and an indicative figure for potential ad hoc, remedial and reactive maintenance, and any additional project work within the scope of the contract.
The contract was signed on 20 April 2026, due to restrictions in the notice template the date in the date signed field cannot be later than the commencement date and has therefore been provided as 01 April 2026 in the set field.
