The Bradford CDC operates from Eccleshill Treatment Centre. A key feature was the development of a single-site diagnostic model, bringing together NHS and independent sector provision in one location to improve access, efficiency and patient experience.<br/>WHI is a longstanding provider at the Eccleshill site and delivers a range of diagnostic services that form an integral part of the CDC model:<br/>• Endoscopy<br/>• Urology<br/>• Gynae<br/>• Radiology<br/>• Phlebotomy<br/>• Physiological Sciences<br/><br/>These services are co-located with Trust services and operate as part of shared clinical pathways.<br/><br/>The relevant authority intends to award a contract to the existing provider, WHI, following the application of Direct Award Process C under the Provider Selection Regime.<br/><br/>This is a one year contract with service intended to run from 01/04/2026 to 31/03/2027 valued at £6,500,000 with the opportunity to extend for a further two years which bring the approximate total lifetime value of the contract to £19,500,000.00

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 05/05/2026. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
