Abstract
Neath Port Talbot Council is one of two councils in Wales to secure funding from the Nature Towns and Cities grant for their ‘Nature’s Back in Town’ project. As part of the engagement events we are currently undertaking, we are offering contractors the opportunity to gain GRO certification (The Green Roof Organisation) through an in-person, one day course in Port Talbot. Spaces are limited and are on a first come first served basis. The course is likely to take place at the end of June (finalised date to be confirmed).
The course is suitable for roofers or landscapers who are looking to broaden their practical knowledge on green roofs.
Please note this course is free of charge.
If this is of interest, please email us at urbannature@npt.gov.uk with GRO training in the subject line. Closing date to register an interest is: Friday 15th May at 2pm.
