Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
YPO are looking for Providers to be appointed onto a Framework Agreement for the Supply of Incident Ground Feeding which incorporates self-heating meals and beverages. The framework is designed primarily to meet the needs of Fire and Rescue Services and Police Services, for use at incidents where there is no other hot food or meal options available. However, it is available for use by all public sector organisations if it meets their requirements, for example school camping (D of E), in cases of emergency aid in disaster situations. YPO's customer base covers all UK and Northern Ireland and as such all suppliers will need to be able to deliver UK wide.

(i) has been the subject of a conviction for corruption, as defined in Article 3 of the Council Act of 26.5.1972 and Article 3 (1) of Council Joint Action 98/742/JHA3 respectively;
(j) has been the subject of a conviction for fraud within the meaning of Article 1 of the Convention relating to the protection of the financial interests of the European Communities;
(k) has been the subject of a conviction for money laundering, as defined in Article 1 of Council Directive 91/308/EEC of 10.6.1991 on prevention of the use of the financial system for the purpose of money laundering.

Self-heating meals, designed to be heated when there are no other means available to heat the food. The pack should include everything required to heat the meal, contained all in one pack. The meals should be ready to eat in less than 20 minutes and exceed 70 °C (or the relevant temperature for the foods contained). Suppliers must offer a minimum of 5 meal options, YPO are evaluating a small range at ITT stage. The meal should substitute a hot meal when there are no other options for a hot meal and be a minimum of 400 grams.
