Abstract

This Invitation to Tender has been created by Leeds & York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, acting on behalf of Leeds Community Healthcare (LCH).

Its purpose is to invite proposals from suitably experienced and qualified supplier(s) of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnostic assessments. These assessments are to be carried out for children and young people aged 5-17, living within the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom.

This service must be delivered in compliance with the National Institute for health and Care Excellence (NICE) CG128 guideline: — ‘Autism diagnosis in children and young people: Recognition, referral and diagnosis of children and young people on the autism spectrum’.

The assessments would ideally be carried out within Children Centres, Schools or LCH's CAMHS clinic bases across the city of Leeds.

Lodging of appeals

The Trust implements a standstill period for a minimum of 10 calendar days. This will provide time for unsuccessful tenderers to raise queries or challenge the award decision before any contract is entered into.

The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 also provide remedial steps for parties who wish to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
