Chwarae Teg is seeking a limited number of suppliers (a maximum of 3) to form a framework of suppliers for Welsh Translation Services for a number of activities for the next three years, with the possibility of extending after this period.

Value is estimated at up to approximately £20,000 per annum.

From time to time, Chwarae Teg will require translation of legal documents

Suppliers who form part of this framework will be offered translation work by Chwarae Teg as the need arises. Chwarae Teg intends to offer individual agreements to successful applicants in order to form the framework of suppliers. However, being part of the framework does not guarantee that the successful tenderer will be offered any work. As the work under the contract is as required, the total work available to the suppliers is dependent upon Chwarae Teg’s internal financial resources from time to time.

3 Conditions for Participation

Minimum standards and qualification required

Quotations should be inclusive of expenses. Please provide details of cost inclusive and exclusive of VAT.

When applying for this engagement please ensure you include the following information:

Completion of supplier qualification questions

Outline & examples of experience regards working with businesses to fulfill similar contracts

References from business you have worked with, failing that details of at least two client businesses that would be open to us contacting them for reference

Provide evidence of financial viability e.g. most recent Company Accounts

Demonstration of commitment to Equality & Diversity

Demonstration of commitment to Environmental Sustainability

All applications will be scored against the following criteria using a scale of 1 to 5, (5 being the highest). The weighting of each category towards the final score awarded is in brackets.

Delivery speed (from submission of piece to be translated) (20%)
