The works required by this Tender will cover building related trades except mechanical but including minor maintenance works, general building work, electrical work, plumbing, Joinery, general day works, drainage works, grounds works, painting and decorating and roof works. The contractor will supply all labour, plant and materials required to complete the works. An element of planned maintenance work is to be undertaken by the contractor.
The contract will be subject to JCT Measured Term Contract (2011) terms and conditions.
The contract will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years.
Estimated value: 1 000 000 GBP per annum.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
This Invitation to Tender (‘ITT’) has been issued by The Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester (‘the Commissioner’). This is a competitive procurement using the Restricted Procedure (2 stage process), in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
Following the PQQ shortlisted bidders will be invited to submit a Tender. A presentation and an interview will be required as part of the evaluation assessment.

The shortlist will be determined by the ranking of bidders according to the overall score achieved in the PQQ evaluation. Details of the scoring mechanism are included in the PQQ document. It is expected that 7 (seven) tenderers will be shortlisted and be invited to submit a tender. However, the Commissioner reserves the right to shortlist fewer or more suppliers, either due to the spread of scores or where there is another justifiable reason to do so.
