Complete design for CDP elements including all necessary Network Rail and Local Authority approvals.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Remodel of the station front elevation including demolition of the existing entrance and offices, enhance and redevelop the main concourse and retail units including provision of a new ticket office and waiting room. Redesign of Station Lane North to provide pick up and drop off area and creation of a raised pedestrian crossing table. Form a larger turning circle within the Lane which will involve demolition of 3 mid sections of the shed roof. Form an enhanced entrance from Station Lane to the main concourse area by opening up the archway and demolishing redundant storage rooms. Rationalise the existing parking at Strother’s Lane and create a pedestrian safe environment to the adjacent bus station. Strothers Lane entrance to be enhanced including relocation of roof access gantry. Additional accommodation for train crew including additional locker rooms and messing area. Provision of temporary ticket office in current barber’s shop. Redundant bulkhead at ticket gate line to be removed, station lighting to be replaced and new CCTV system installed across the concourse and train shed.
Complete design for CDP elements including all necessary Network Rail and Local Authority approvals.

Abellio ScotRail Ltd have directly appointed a cost consultant and designer to support the design team work throughout the design phase to tender preparation.
A proposal for post tender design consultant contract duties to contract completion will be included in the consultant fee proposal request.
