Abstract

EDP wishes to procure external forestry expertise to support the delivery of commercial business opportunities. This service will provide expert advice on forestry matters as part of marketing and developing commercial opportunities on NRW land (e.g. commercial opportunities arising from the Enterprise Plan under the Energy Development and Recreation & Tourism portfolios). The Energy Delivery Programme (EDP) Management Team will determine when input is required. Service will include: Example of Forestry Task & Finish Products: • Tree / crop valuations and valuation forecasting; • Site walkovers for forestry purposes; • Site / habitat assessments; • Marking sites / coupe marking / coupe planning as necessary; • Forest Inventory work in line with FC Forest Mensuration Handbook.
