List and brief description of conditions:
The security service shall be a comprehensive security service provided by the service provider and in accordance with the NHS protect national strategy for managing security services in the NHS that shall include, but not limited to the following elements:
(a) in compliance with BS7499:2002 ‘Static site guarding and mobile patrol services — code of practice’ and BS7984:2001 ‘Key holding and response service — code of practice’;
(b) vetting of security staff, in accordance with the requirements of the Security industry trust (SIA), and in compliance with BS7858:2006 ‘Security screening of individuals employed in a security environment — code of practice’;
(c) training of security staff in accordance with the requirements of the Security Industry Trust (SIA), and in compliance with BS7499:2002 ‘Static site guarding and mobile patrol services — code of practice’, BS7984:2001 ‘Key holding and response service — code of practice’.
