Abstract

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Office for Product Safety and Standards is the appointed market surveillance authority responsible for enforcing the Ecodesign and Energy Labelling Regulations within the UK.

The purpose of this project is to test a selection of condenser units to verify compliance with the following regulations or equivalent (and any amendments to these):

— (EU) 2015/1095 — implementing Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to Ecodesign requirements for professional refrigerated storage cabinets, blast cabinets, condensing units and process chillers.
