Talbot Square Roof Replacement

Description of the goods or services required

MVH is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and competent roofing contractor to complete main roof replacements to properties at Talbot Square, Merthyr Tydfil. A specification detailing the work required has been included at Appendix A. Bidders will be required to survey the properties in question in preparation of their bid, and ensure that costs required to deliver the works are included in their offer including but not limited to preliminary costs, labour, travel, welfare, management fees and tenant liaison whether expressly stated in the specification or not. No additional cost which could have been foreseen from a street level survey will be accepted by MVH.

The appointed contractor will be required to take full responsibility for delivery of the project in its entirety including satellite dish and/or aerial relocations and a degree of tenant liaison to ensure that MVH tenants are aware of the works programme and are kept up to date with delivery progress including gaining access to the required properties.

The successful bidder(s) will be expected to deliver the works as a partner to MVH and take full responsibility for the end to end delivery of the project in addition to liaising with the nominated MVH project team to provide progress updates etc. It is anticipated that the works will begin in 30th Sept 2019 and where possible bidders should aim to fully complete the project by 21st Oct 2019. Bidders should note that part payment will only be made once each property has been fully completed and accepted by MVH.
