Abstract

The provision for IAEA SSR-6 Compliant testing services.

International Nuclear Services (INS) engineering team is responsible for the design and substantiation of new transport packages and the re-substantiation of existing transport packages for other uses. In conjunction with supporting calculations and computer models we require physical test regimes to support the design and substantiation process. The tests are explicitly set out in IAEA SSR-6.

INS is looking to secure testing services for thermal, impact, leak and seal and metrology.

The service provision will be to provide facilities and quality assurance processes to complete and report on IAEA compliant tests for SSR-6 transport packages.

We want to canvass the opinion and understanding of the market to ensure that we offer an opportunity that is of interest and one that you feel you could bid for in the future.

This process is to test our own assumptions and understanding to determine the supply markets capability and enable us to determine the appropriate rout to market.
