Abstract

The General Pharmaceutical Council (“the Authority”) regulates pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacies in Great Britain. We work to assure and improve standards of care for people using pharmacy services. Our role is to protect the public and give them assurance that they will receive safe and effective care when using pharmacy services. We set standards for pharmacy professionals and pharmacies to enter and remain on our register.

The Authority is inviting bidders with experience of delivering high stakes assessments, to submit a tender for the delivery of its national registration assessment. The registration assessment is a computer-based examination that takes place in test locations distributed across the UK.

The scope of services includes delivery of a secure computer-based assessment to candidates on agreed dates in test locations distributed across the UK, a secure platform that manages exam questions in multiple formats, test booking services, candidate support services, invigilation services, proctoring services (as required), reporting services and other related services.
