Supply of 8no Fully Electric Estate Cars

Newport City Council wish to purchase eight brand new fully electric estate cars, to the following specification, for delivery to the Council by the end of September 2021. It is our understanding of the market that there may be supply problems in order to meet this requirement. Therefore this speculative notice is to provide potential suppliers with the opportunity to inform the Council that they are in a position to meet this requirement and would like the opportunity to bid for the supply of these estate cars. Expressions of interest must be made by 20th August 2021

The vehicles should follow the general specification outlined below.

• Estate Type Car (100% Electric)

• Extended warranty (5 or 7 year)

• Roof Rails

• Factory White

• 5 seat capacity

• Leather style upholstery

• Adjustable driver’s seat to include lumber adjustment

• Minimum Battery Capacity Circa, kWh 50

• Combined type 2 and Domestic leads to be supplied plus facility for fast charge point

• Satellite navigation

• Electric Windows

• Automatic Air Conditioning

• Bluetooth

• Load capacity (seats up) Minimum 464 Ltrs

• Load capacity (seats folded) Minimum 1,456 Ltrs
