Abstract
Aberdare embankment extends from 336380m to 336500m on the Aberdare Branch. At present, it consists of a single bi-directional track. This is to be slewed across with the intention of installing a new loop line in parallel. The current profile of the embankment cannot fully support an additional track as the track support zone isn’t sufficient.
