Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) invites you to submit a Tender for Bridgend Enterprise Hub Development, Pyle – B1 (New Build).

Contract Terms and Conditions: JCT Standard Building Contract Without Quantities 2016 Edition (SBC/XQ) to include Contractor`s Designed Portion and all as amended as set down in Section 5.2 of the Preliminaries Document.

The development of B1 forms a part of a wider project called Enterprise Hubs Development Programme, which is part funded by the Welsh European Funding Office and BCBC.

The following is a brief overview:

This Tender is effectively a Design and Build Contract, meaning that the Successful Bidder has a responsibility for some aspects of the design of the delivered contract in accordance with the Works Document Suite and in liaison with the Authority’s Appointed Persons.

Site B1 comprises the construction of 8 new build light industrial units in one single storey block providing 3 large units (111m2) and 5 smaller units (56m2) together with all the associated external works, incoming services and drainage.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

The successful Tenderer shall be required to deliver the contract to the highest industry standards.

Construction Start Date: Circa. 20th November 2021.

Construction End Date: Circa. 17th June 2022.
